  2. What's the best way to find properties I may be interested in purchasing?
    There are several ways for you to find listings that are likely to be of interest to you on
    • Browse by Type – Find all current listings of a particular type such as Hunting Properties, International Properties, Kingdom Lots and Most Viewed.
    • Quick Search – Find all current listings by one or more attributes: State or Region, Price Range, Parcel Size or Lifestyle.
    • Map Search – Find all current listings by geographic location.
    • Featured Listings – View select properties of special interest.
    • Broker Listing – Locate a Land Specialist to help you find and purchase property.
  3. I'm not finding a property that interests me listed on the site now.
    Hundreds of new listings are posted every week. As a registered visitor, you can choose to receive automatic notification when listings matching your search criteria become available. To request notification of new listings, perform a search using your criteria and click on the Email Me Updates button at the bottom of the page.
  4. Can you help me find a broker? Land Specialists in all regions of the U.S. are available to assist you in purchasing and selling rural property. To contact a broker to help you find or sell a property, complete the Connect with a Land Specialist form.

  2. What kinds of property can I list on
    Registered sellers may post listings for rural land, including investment or recreation property, land for sale, hunting land, large acreages, farms for sale, homesites, land for development, cabins, log homes and second homes.
  3. How do I submit my listings to
    After you have registered as a seller, you may submit your listings immediately by using our self-upload tool or automatically through a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) feed.
  4. How do I load images to my self-uploaded listing?
    You will be prompted to upload images in Step 3 of the self-upload tool. You will select the images from your computer that you would like to load and then upload the images to your listing. The images will then be displayed below the upload tool where you can then re-order the way the images appear in the photo gallery. Image processing was enhanced in December 2011 to allow larger images to be displayed on all listings. If your images were loaded prior to that date you will need to re-load all images. Tip: We recommend that the images be at least 600 x 450 pixels to ensure the best quality images are displayed on your listings.

  6. How long will it take for my listings to appear on
    If you use the self-upload tool, your listing will appear within 24 hours. Listings through an MLS feed take longer to appear on the site. Click here for information on options for submitting listings.
  7. How do I receive leads from
    You are automatically sent a copy of the lead when a prospective buyer makes an inquiry about one of your property listings. Information on activity related to your listings is also available on your MyLandWatch page, created when you register.
  8. How can I track the performance of my listings on
    You can see the traffic and number of leads each of your listings is receiving by checking your MyLandWatch page. Data on all of your listings is conveniently collected on this page. For more details, please read the performance dashboard overview.
  9. How much does it cost to list properties on
    Pricing depends on the number of listings you post to the site. Once you have signed up for the appropriate tier, your credit card account will be charged on the first of each month. You can find a list of our current prices here. For even more details, please read our terms and conditions.
  10. What methods of payment do you accept?
    We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express for online payments fully secured by SSL encryption.
  11. How do I cancel my subscription?
    You may cancel your listing subscription at any time by going to MyLANDWATCH and clicking on "Cancel subscription" under Billing or by phoning 1.866.905.8259. Cancellations must be received by written notice at least seven days prior to the end of the then-current monthly period to cancel your subscription for the subsequent month. After providing notice of cancellation, you will continue to have access to all services on until the end of the payment period in which you provided notice. There is no refund for service cancelled prior to the end of the month.
  12. What happens when I sell a property listed on
    You should update the listing to indicate that the property has been sold. If you use the self-upload tool, please go to MyLandWatch and revise the listing. If your listings are supplied to through an MLS feed, changes made to the status of your listings with MLS will be automatically incorporated into listings.
  13. Can I post listings on my Web site?
    At this point we do not provide a way for other sites to post listings.

  1. What is Refer-a-Friend program?
    Refer-a-Friend is a rewards program exclusively for our customers who are our biggest fans. Whenever you refer another business to LandWatch and they sign up within 60 days because of your referral, we will send you a $50 check for first 5 friends that signed up. Oh, and because the real estate professionals you refer are your friends, each friend will get a $50 check as well. Now that's a pretty sweet friendship.
  2. How can I refer a new real estate professional?
    After you become a LandWatch customer, login to your MyLandWatch account and click the "Refer a Friend" button at the top of the page. This will take you to our Refer-a-Friend page where you will enter your friends contact information. One of our sales associates will contact your friends to tell them more about LandWatch services and sign them up. When your friends sign up for any LandWatch advertising services, you will be eligible to receive a $50 check for each friend who signed up, up to five friends total – for a combined reward of $250.
  3. When will I receive a check for $50?
    Be on the lookout for a check in your mailbox within 4-6 weeks after each friend signs up. Keep in mind, to receive $50 referral bonus, you must be a current customer and your account must be in good standing. All checks will be sent to the billing address we have on file for your account.
  4. How many friends can I refer?
    While there is no limit to how many friends you can refer, the $50 cash reward will only apply to your first 5 friends who sign up, for a total maximum cash reward of $250. Keep in mind, every friend you refer that signs up will still be eligible to receive $50, even if more than 5 friends sign up.
  5. I referred a friend, but I have not received my award. Now what?
    To ensure that you receive your $50 reward, be sure to provide your LandWatch account number and use the email address on file for your LandWatch account when referring friends. If your friend contacts us before we get a chance to contact them, your friend must sign up with the same information you have provided when referring them or they must let the sales representative know you referred them when signing up. If multiple customers refer the same person, the cash reward will go to the customer whose name friend used when signing up with LandWatch. Keep in mind that existing advertisers are not considered valid referrals.

    LandWatch undertakes to protect the information of all customers and referrals, and will never share either your or your friend's account information with any other third party.
