There is a new instrument approach and a new approach lighting system call a PAPI. There is a partial parallel taxiway connecting to a huge parking ramp that has provisions to tie down 6 aircraft. All runway lights, taxiway lights, and windsock are new. Plans for the future are to expand the runway to an eventual length of 6400 feet and keep the existing width of 75 feet. Future plans also include a 24 hour fuel facility, which is now available, and a large community hangar.
