Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada Land For Sale - 280 Acres
Financing! 280 acres west of Quesnel, BC in the vast Cariboo District wilderness totally surrounded by Crown Land forests on all 4 sides, in Baker Creek valley with Baker Creek running through the property, the live creek meanders through the large hay meadow so no irrigation is necessary. The meadow produces approximately 150/175 round bales of hay in summer cutting. This meadow with live water and surrounded by forests is a prime habitat for... morewildlife. This is an impressive parcel of land with many opportunities, and an incredible setting for a totally private getaway, hunters paradise, and a self sustainable farm in the wilderness, yet within about 55 miles/85 kilometers of Quesnel.
Owner financing options available with around 30% to 40% down, with several shorter term options.
Will Divide: The 280 acres is divided in two titles, a 160 acre tract, and a 120 acre tract. I would be open to dividing/selling the two parcels to separately two different buyers.
This property is off-the-grid, away from modern conveniences and power, etc, if you want power~ Modern solar and wind power can be applied in a setting like this, and the creek has potential for power production if you desired to install a small hydro electric system, and you could install a water turbine or water wheel/mill for all kinds of purposes as was done in the 19th century, and gravity irrigation is also an option for gardening, many hobby opportunities!
In Quesnel pass the Fraser River Bridge and follow the Nazko Road west for about 40 km. First, you will come to the Puntchesakut Lake, which is to your left, then a few km further you see "Sylvia's Café" on the right. Just past the café, turn left into Tibbles Road. Follow it to the Y (pavement) and take the left arm, Lavington Road. Follow Lavington Road for 22 km until you come to 3800 Road(a Forestry road that is minimum maintenance, and is not plowed in winter), turn right into this 3800 road and follow it for approx. 15 km/8 miles. Just before the 15 km sign you turn left into a small entrance road through the forest. Follow this smaller entrance road for approximate 100 - 200 meters and you have reached the Property, this driveway continues back into the property.
