After graduating from Iowa State, Chris worked as a law enforcement officer from 2009 to 2015, and was also the Director of Clarke County Conservation where he was fortunate to work with fellow landowners, biologist, wildlife, and land on a daily basis. In his free time Chris enjoys working on his land to make it better for wildlife and future generations, spending time with his family, and hunting everything from mushrooms to mature whitetails. He believes there is nothing better than standing on your own land and watching hard work pay off as the land becomes better than it was before.Chris is also the Vice President of the Iowa Sportsmans Club, a non-profit which he helped start that focuses on keeping the hunting great in Iowa by combatting bad legislation, improving habitat through assisting in conservation projects, and introducing youth to the outdoors.
