It's important to note that multi-family apartment complexes would not be in line with this zoning. It doesn't sound like this is the type of multi-family you would want to pursue but wanted to emphasize that to avoid any confusion. The buyer's concept could also be a candidate for a PDD (planned development district) for an attached single-family townhouse community as we recently lessened the minimum size to 3 acres. Annexation: This would begin with a request from the future landowner/developer. If they pursued the PDD route, they would need to submit a development layout and that process would happen alongside the annexation process. Per the City: If annexed into the City, the new zoning would allow attached, single family homes and a PUD.
