The Weldon Creek 264 acres is an exceptional hunting and recreation property with over 1/2 mile of spring fed creek running through the middle of the property. The 264 acres have been enrolled in the Quality Forest Program since 2017. The purpose of the Qualified Forest Program (QFP) is to encourage landowners to actively manage their privately owned forests for commercial harvest, wildlife habitat enhancement, and improvement of other non-forest resources. The Marquette Rail is a short line railroad operating and based in Ludington. It operates 126 miles north from Grand Rapids to Manistee and it borders the West property line of Weldon Creek 264.
