A rough estimate of the sawtimber volume in that area is 1,800 board feet/ac. Mostly in the small sawtimber size class at this time with the potential to develop into some very high quality timber. It has been over 35 years since the property was last harvested.
There is good access to an open sand pit (identified as 'Gravel Pit' on the topo map). The sand in this pit is considered to be of very high quality with the potential for a lease arrangement with a local municipality.
