There are requirements in order to place a bid on this auction.
Here are the steps to place a bid:
(1) Register to become a bidder.
If you are a current GovDeals bidder, skip this section and go to # 2.
If you are not a registered bidder, you must register at Govdeals. Click on the "Register" link in the top right-hand corner of the page.
(2) This auction requires a bid deposit in the amount of $1,025.00, which includes a $25.00 non-refundable processing fee.
Bid deposits can take one full day to process, so do not wait until the last day of the auction to submit your bid deposit or it will not clear in time. The information for the bid deposit can be found below under the 'Attachments' section. At the bottom of the same form is the link to expedite your refund if you are not the winning bidder. If you fail to fill out this form by the close of the auction, your refund will be delayed which means your refund will be sent via check 4-8 weeks after the close of the auction.
(3) Subscribe to the Real Estate Tier:
You will need to request access to the Cumberland Real Estate Auction Tier to bid. Once we receive your tier request, you will remain in "Pending" status until we approve you for bidding. Note: bidding starts on May 23, 2025 at 11:00 am. You will not be approved prior to this date and time. To subscribe to the tier: click the "Register to Bid" button in the blue bar to the right of the pictures. On the next page, click "Apply now." (the subscribe button will not be present if you are not a registered bidder).
(4) Those bidders who have submitted their bid deposit and requested tier access will be activated for bidding on the first day of bidding which is May 23, 2025 at 11:00 am.
