The B-J Farms Tract consists of a well stocked pine plantation that was established in 1988. The 21 year old plantation has been thinned twice, once in 2003 and again in 2008. Presently the stand has approximately 185 Trees/Acre with 95 square feet of basal area and is growing well into pine sawtimber. The B-J Farms Tract is bordered on the east and south by productive farm land. The tract is located in the general transition from timberland into farmland, which offers a diverse habitat and ample food sources for wildlife and is a special enhancement for white-tailed deer habitat.
