Location: The property is located approximately 1 mile south of the community of Snyder and is described as the Western 1/3 of the NE of Section 33, Township 16 South, Range 5 West containing a total of 53.33 acres, more or less, located in Ashley County, Arkansas.
Property Descriptions: The Snyder Tract consists of 53.33 acres of commercial timberland and is a mixture of natural pine and hardwood, predominately pulpwood size timber. The property contains numerous wood roads which provide excellent internal access to the property. The soil...
Property Descriptions: The Snyder Tract consists of 53.33 acres of commercial timberland and is a mixture of natural pine and hardwood, predominately pulpwood size timber. The property contains numerous wood roads which provide excellent internal access to the property. The soils are moderately well drained and are well suited for loblolly pine production. The average native site index of the soils is 86 feet (base Age 50) per the NRCS Web Soil Survey. Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc. conducted a timber cruise in February 2016. Thirty 10 BAF prism plots were taken on cruise lines running north and south. All timber was tallied in 1 diameter class by species and product.
Method of Sale: The property will be sold on the basis of lump sum sealed bids. A bid form is attached. Mailed bids should be addressed to Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc., P.O. Box 1290, Monticello, AR 71657. Snyder Tract Land Sale" should be clearly marked in the lower left corner of the envelope to protect security of the bid. Bids will be opened at the Kingwood Forestry office at 145 Greenfield Drive, Monticello, Arkansas at 3:00 P.M., Friday, April 1, 2016. Buyers submitting bids are welcome to attend the bid opening. Bids may be delivered by fax to 870-367-8424. All fax bids will be immediately acknowledged. Please await confirmation that your fax bid has been received. No verbal telephone bids will be accepted. Anyone submitting a bid for the purchase of the property will be provided with a summary of bid results.
