Water and Natural Resources

The ranch benefits from an abundant water table (Evangeline Aquifer). East Bernard Creek flows north to south through the property and provides consistent live water year-round. Groundwater from wells further supports a strong natural water supply. There are 14 total wells: 7 electric wells, 2 windmills, and numerous lakes and ponds.

Improvements and Cattle Operation

In addition to 1.4 miles of public road frontage along Orange Hill Road and Oilfield Road, the ranch features an extensive network of interior gravel roads estimated to total over 6 miles.
Fencing is a central feature of the ranch’s infrastructure, with all fencing in very good to excellent condition. All metal gates are hinged, lightweight, and easy to operate for all ages.
