Smith Creek Middle Ranch

Smith Creek Middle Ranch, Middle Unit is a 1600 acre prairie ranch property with a lightly timbered ridge along its western edge. Along with adjoining Axes Canyon, these properties provide a heavily used migration and feeding corridor for elk moving from neighboring feeding areas to the bedding areas on the 6300 foot high ridges on the eastern edge of the ranch and adjoining state lands. A water system is in place providing stock and wildlife water tanks throughout the ranch. Hungarian Partridge have been observed on the property.
