Located in the northern reaches of the South Texas Brush Country, this area averages approximately 30 inches of rainfall per year. With approximately 60% of soils being USDA classified as Class 2 sandy clay loams and fine sandy loams, this ranch will grow both grass and browse.

The ranch features diverse topography, with good roll and 50-60' of relief in the western portion of the ranch, dropping off to the relatively level Medio Creek bottom on the eastern side of the property.
