Hagelstein Ranch
The Hagelstein Ranch is located less than 4 miles from downtown Blanco, Texas, about 45 miles west of Austin and 40 miles north of San Antonio, the center of one of the most dynamic growth areas in the USA. Access to the ranch is awesome and offers approx. 5000 ft of paved Blanco Kendelia Rd (CR 102) frontage. The site is also a short drive from Fredericksburg, Dripping Springs, Johnson City, and Wimberly. The immediate area is composed of mostly large Hill Country recreational ranches. This has resulted in a scenic Hill Country neighborhood of several showplace properties that border this very special ranch.

This ranch offers some of the most spectacular views that Blanco County has to offer. There are at least 12 usable hilltops on the ranch that average about 1700+ ft in elevation. This creates beautiful valleys and huge views from numerous locations. The cedar has been removed from the entire ranch and hardwoods are abundant throughout with the majority being Live oaks. There is also about 17 acres of farmable fields on property.
The road system on the ranch is phenomenal. There is just under 7.5 miles of easily accessible roads traversing thru the ranch. Also, the property is broken into 9 separate pastures and every pasture has its own cattle guard. This makes for easy access thru the entire ranch without having to open any gates. The perimeter and cross fencing are all in good condition. There is a nice set of pipe cattle working pens that are in great working condition.
Water is supplied to the ranch with 5 separate wells. There are several water troughs throughout the ranch for watering stock. There are 3 prominent lakes on property, 2 of which are stocked with fish and several small stock ponds as well. Electricity is on the property and provided by Pedernales Electric Coop.
The improvements and infrastructure on the ranch are rustic and clean, melding with the land and terrain seamlessly, and are well maintained. There are 3 homes on the property and all have several great features. The main headquarters house is a 3/2 and also offers a nice in-ground pool and casita. The 2nd house is a 3/2 as well and is currently used as the ranch foremans home. The 3rd home is a beautiful rock 4/3 that is situated on one of the ranches highest elevations affording gorgeous 360-degree views. There are 2 nice horse barns on the ranch and several other barns and outbuildings. Several of the barns also include attached pens for livestock.
This is one of the very few large acreage ranches left intact in the Hill Country. Its location and accessibility is truly almost impossible to find in todays times. The Blanco area is one of the fastest growing areas in the USA.
