The Halfwassen Farm is located 14 miles west/southwest of Alliance, Nebraska in the center of the Nebraska Panhandle. This area is ideally suited for the production of sugar beets, potatoes and dry edible beans, plus corn, wheat, barley, millet, sunflowers and alfalfa. These crops provide an excellent rotation mix to maximize physical and financial production.
Access is by good county gravel road to the property and by internal farm roads within. Terrain of the farm is very desirable, with almost entirely Valentine sand soils. Irrigation water is supplied by wells drilled mostly in the 1980s and 1990s, with some in the 1970s and in 2000. Wells are registered with the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources. All wells and pivots are powered by electricity. Most pumps are Sargent brand. Pivots are Zimmatic and considered in very good working condition.
