This tract is only 20 miles from Platte City and offers 200 acres of wildlife habitat for all types of game in the area. All 200 acres of the farm are under a perpetual wetland easement belonging to the United States. As such, the rights of use of this land are limited to hunting and being managed as a wetland area. Several thousand dollars has been spent on water control structures to keep the high creek flows on the farm without pumping expense. Improvements on this tract consist of several thousand dollars of dirt work in the construction of levees and water structures to impound water on the farm from high creek flows. During normal years, no pump is necessary to manage this as a wetland area.
