The early 1800s farmhouse was effectively gutted and substantially remodeled starting in 2005. Important energy items completed include insulation, all new vinyl windows, exterior doors, propane furnace and SuperStor hot water storage tank. The plumbing and electrical systems were replaced and upgraded in 2006 with additional plumbing upgrades within the past 3 years. Central vac was added as well as a whole house standby generator.

The Town of Brookfield is a town of about 700 residents, and is located in the foothills of the White Mountain Range in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Also within a short drive are many spectacular ski areas, lakes, hiking, boating, golf, hunting, and tourist attractions. The resort town of North Conway is about an hour north and Portsmouth, and the historic city of Portsmouth is an hour south. Wolfeboro, the Oldest Summer Resort in America, on the shore of beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, is a 15 minute drive.

The 80 x 260 Facility Complex - All steel, fully insulated building, including roof, and walls set on a full concrete foundation.
The sidewalls were not attached to the foundation correctly when it was built in 1991. The walls, light panels and insulation on the long sides was replaced and reinforced and 3 roof beams were replaced in 2010. The foundation by the west arena door was repaired.
