Belt Creek Ranch is located 34 miles SE of Great Falls Montana, on highway 89. Great Falls has a population of 60,000 people, an international airport, and is the home of famous western artist Charlie Russell. This area is loaded with rich history such as the Lewis and Clark expedition, when they came up the Missouri River on their way to the coast. Great Falls is located between Yellowstone Park [224 miles] and Glacier Park [146 miles].

The ranch is only 25 miles from Showdown Ski Mountain, which is the oldest ski area in Montana. The ranch is adjacent to Sluice Box State Park, which has world class beauty and a hiking trail throughout the park. The hiking trail crosses Belt Creek numerous times and goes through towering limestone canyons, which have some 30 foot cliff jumping areas ,with deep pools below. Belt Creek has excellent fishing for rainbow and brown trout.

The Little Belt Mountains are an absolutely beautiful range of mountains that lie adjacent to the ranch. The mountains are loaded with elk, moose, deer, bear, mountain lions, grouse, trout, and many other small animals. History buffs will love this area because of the old mining camps, ghost towns, relics, and abandoned railroad tracks.

The ranch itself is a long time established cattle ranch featuring 1564+/- acres. The ranch stretches from Belt Creek on the bottom, to a high mountain ridge on the top end. The view from the top will take your breath away, as you look at the snow capped peaks of the Little Belt Mountains. The ranch has deep ravines, brushy draws, and timbered side hills. The grass on this ranch is excellent for cattle, deer, and elk. The grass has what old timers used to call, good kick in itwhich means the grass puts good solid pounds on livestock.
