The house was built on 6" slab foundation and using insulated concrete forms (ICF), the core is backed on both sides by 2 inches of insulating foam plus sheetrock which including the outside plaster brings the thickness of the walls to over 1 foot. The house is stout and well insulated for thermal stability.
Beside the house sits a 2-car garage and the solar setup which produces more than enough electricity for all needs, seller actually sells back to the Public Electric Coop. The 25' x 36' garage/workshop is well lit in the 300 square foot workshop area, and has about 40' of workbench built in along with shelving for storage.
