Bring the Camper, Tents or RV and be prepared to enjoy the outdoors. Here you have a great find, near Buena Vista Colorado (World Class White Water Rafting country) over 60 acres of Placer Claim, on Trout Creek, legally filed with the Federal Government and County Recorder. This is not a common find in the area. This is a great area to pan in the water for Gold and other minerals and do some fishing while you are in the area. There are really nice wash areas coming down from the mountain where Quartz is being washed. Water in the creek is does play into factors such as precipitation at the higher levels, drought etc. There are flat areas to camp, great seasonal access from Highway 285 and you are not far from town.
