The Old Gurdon Pond tract, also known as Gurdon Pond #2, was a former Game & Fish lake. The lake was drained over twenty years ago, but it is thought that the levee could be repaired to hold water, as Coffee Creek crosses the tract. Access is from Old Gurdon Highway, plus woods roads through adjoining industrial timberland. Timber consists of merchantable natural pine and hardwood. Pine Pulpwood: 18,111 Trees; 7,155 Tons
Hardwood Pulpwood: 3,473 Trees; 630 Tons

Method of Sale: The property will be sold on the basis of lump sum sealed bids. An offer form is attached. Bids will be opened at the Kingwood Forestry office at #4 Executive Circle, Arkadelphia, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2016. Buyers submitting offers are welcome to attend the bid opening. Mailed offers should be addressed to Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc., P.O. Box 65, Arkadelphia, AR 71923 with "Old Gurdon Pond Land Sale" clearly marked in the lower left corner of the envelope to protect security of the offer. On mailed offers, please call our office prior to bid opening to confirm receipt of offer. Offers may be delivered by fax to 870-246-3341 or by e-mail.
