It is because of this family connection to Washington that it was spared the destruction by fire. It remains today as the only standing Antebellum structure in Quitman and one of three in Clarke County.

Individuals interested in bidding on live auctioneers must register 12 hours prior to the auction in order for your bid request to be approved. Doors will open at 8:00am on auction day. The property will be under heavy security due to the amount and value of items being sold.
