Large tract of land by Sand Lake southwest of Bagley. Level wooded upland slopes toward open wetland/pond areas in the south portion and on the northeast and northwest sides. Paved county roads border the north and west sides, and a gravel township road borders the south. Trails in the northwest corner and midway down the west side traverse throughout the land. A 2008 timber plantation provides habitat for a wide variety of wildlife such as whitetail deer, ruffed grouse, migratory birds, and smaller animals. The property is surrounded by large tracts of privately-owned land. Lower Rice Lake State WMA is about 15 miles away for additional deer, bear, small game, and waterfowl hunting. Bagley is less than 10 miles away for schools, shopping, dining, community events, and more.
