Couch 40 tract (#4055) will be sold by lump sum sealed bid on Friday, June 26, 2009, at 3:00pm. Tract is located two miles northwest of Atlanta. Access is via woods road from Hwy 98 (see location map). Tract contains 30 acres of well stocked pine plantation that was planted in March of 2000 with 2nd Generation IP loblolly seedlings. The remaining ten acres comprise SMZ around Beech Creek which contains an estimated 130 tons of hardwood sawtimber and 130 tons of hardwood pulpwood. Soils consist of fine sandy loams with site index for loblolly pine averaging 85 feet on fifty year base.
