Solar is the option of choice for power on these off-grid ranches as there are about 300 days of sunshine per year here! The property has a high desert climate (elevation of over 7,000 feet above sea level). Summer temperatures are moderate, and winters are cold with not much snow. Before you build a homestead, you will need to have a septic system installed and have a permanent water source, such as a well, or cistern having water hauled in, or have a water-catchment system. Homes need be a minimum of 600 square feet.
There are no liens on this property. There are no HOA fees. Taxes are current and only about $48-$97 per year depending on the exact ranch you purchase.
