Drew County Farm
1,040 Acres of improved, row crop farmland in Drew County Arkansas. The farm is 100% Irrigated farmland with 3 wells, 2 large re-lift stations, and 125 acres of reservoirs providing abundance of surface water for irrigation. The farm is equipped with a state of the art tailwater recovery system, that re captures 100% of the farms irrigation water as well as water from several other farms in the area. There is extensive underground pipe and risers to every field. Roughly 60% of the farm is precision laser leveled and the remaining 40% is row fall irrigated.
The soils types consist of all silt loam soils. The farm is 70% Calhoun silt loam, and the remaining 30% similar mixed silt loams. The farm has a 647 acre rice base. There are 820 tillable acres. With all the precision leveling that has been done on the farm, it is capable of growing strong rice yields.
There is a concrete floor shop and a 40,000 bushel grain bin on the farm. There are great gravel roads throughout the farm. There is a 95 acre reservoir on the north end and a 35 acre reservoir on the south end. The south reservoir is kept full with an endless water source, little cut off creek. The water is then gravity fed to the north reservoir, providing ample water for irrigation across the entire farm.
