1100 Acre Hunting Ranch

The 1100 Acre Hunting Ranch was originally part of an historic 80,000 acre ranch. The ranch and general area are renowned for abundant whitetail deer, Rio Grande turkey and free ranging exotics. A small herd of elk roams the area and mountain lions are occasional visitors. With several miles of the seasonal Mail Trail Creek and the numerous draws running into it, the fertile valley soils are covered in large oaks, elms, mesquite and typical South Texas brush, all providing ideal habitat for the wildlife. Ridgelines rise up over 250 feet from the valley and are covered with large Pinon Pine, Texas Oak, Mountain Laurel, cedars and other native shrubs. These ridgelines offer panoramic views of the distant Hill Country as well as overlooks of the game rich draws and valley below.
