Loose Horse Farms is a collection of farms that were first established by a group of like-minded friends in 2004. Their vision was born out of a desire for their families to live in beautiful open spaces that offered privacy and security while still being convenient to the Memphis area. They dreamed of building country homes where they could host events with family and friends with plenty of room for activities like hayrides, bonfires, hunting, fishing, and equestrian pursuits. Since their initial land acquisition, the owners have continued to add land to their holdings as opportunities have arisen and Loose Horse Farms now exceeds 600 acres. These founding families have enjoyed the property for the last 20 years and are now offering others the opportunity to have their own part of Loose Horse Farms.

Peninsula at Loose Horse Farm's namesake is a narrow strip of land that bridges between two beautiful ponds in the heart of the property. This area is dotted with majestic Oak Trees and is elevated providing an excellent water view on both sides. Approximately 10 acres of woods surround the two ponds and the homesite area providing a private setting. When the mist is coming off the ponds on a brisk fall morning the colors and sights are captivating. The property has been improved with a pole barn including a “lean-to” and electricity has already been run into the property. This pole barn has multiple bays and has been historically used for hay and equipment storage. It’s large enough to fit multiple tractors and side by sides with room for other ATVs.
Peninsula is arguably the most scenic and private homesite currently released at Loose Horse Farms. The combination of the oak-canopied peninsula, dual-pond frontage, existing barn/infrastructure, total seclusion, and an elevated building site makes it feel like its own private estate inside the larger community. If you’re looking for that “wow-factor” homesite where you wake up to mist on the water with beautiful oak trees framing every view, Peninsula is it! Reach out today to schedule your private tour.
