The Farm was formerly the cattle headquarters for William Loessin, who was the Sherriff for Fayette County from 1923-1947. Remnants of his two story office and cabin are still standing along the roadside of Loehr Rd.

The Property can be accessed from two different paved roads. The main entrance is located on Loehr Rd. and the rear boundary of the property has access to Mullins Prairie Loop Rd. There is about 1,000 feet of frontage on Loehr Rd and about 2,000 feet of frontage on Mullins Prairie Loop.

The Giesber Farm is very well situated; being only about 6 miles from Downtown Lagrange, TX. LaGrange is the County Seat of Fayette County and has all of the amenities for everyday wants and needs. There is a Super WalMart, HEB Grocery, Sutherlands, St. Marks Regional Hospital, and a numerous assortment of restaurants. It is located about 12 miles from Weimar, TX and Interstate 10. The famous Mullins Prairie Store, which is a live music venue, is within walking distance or a Polaris ride from the Farm.
Lane Pool Creek
Lane Pool Creek is a tree lined creek that meanders through the property that finally makes its way to the Colorado River via Williams Creek. The creek is the water source for the 1.5 acre lake that resides on the Farm. It attracts the local wildlife that includes, whitetail deer, coyotes, bobcats, ducks, dove, hogs and turkey.
Flood Plain
The Sellers were recently able to remove much of the property out of the flood plain from a formal application process through FEMA. There is now 96.387 Acres of land out of the 130 acres that is located outside of the 100 year flood plain.
