The overall diversity of this ranch is nothing short of incredible for a place of this size. Approximately 40% of the property is heavy native brush with giant Bull Mesquites, Live Oaks and Hackberry trees. Next, you have approximately 40% of old second growth habitat with a wide variety of brush species mixed throughout along with good size Mesquites. The final 20% is mostly covered in native weeds and grasses with some scattered Pear Cactus and several Mesquites. This type of habitat combined with the red sandy soil makes this part of the ranch perfect for quail and dove.

The highlight of the ranch would have to be the big creek bottoms that are lined with giant Live Oaks, Elms, Hackberrys and Mesquites. Over seven-tenths of a mile of Black Creek runs through the property along with the San Miguel Creek which meanders in and out of the ranch. The large creek bottoms are excellent roosting areas for Turkey and host an abundance of wildlife.

There is one water well located on the ranch which supplies water to 4 concrete water troughs that are connected with over 4000 feet of 1 1/4 inch PVC pipe. In addition to the troughs, there are 2 small wildlife ponds and black creek holds several pools of water for weeks after a good rain. There are excellent roads and senderos in place and all blinds and feeders will convey.
