An Event Venue with Vintage Charm
Nestled in the picturesque Texas Hill Country between Fredericksburg and Kerrville, the Kairos Celebration Barn provides a unique setting for special occasions such as weddings, receptions, and anniversary or birthday parties.
The 4,550 sq ft venue was built in 1999 around the frame of an 1850s Amish barn from Ohio. The original hand-hewn white oak beams were painstakingly disassembled and reassembled to highlight the picturesque long-range views of the Hill Country. No detail was overlooked in building the facility--craftsmen and workers re-joined the frame in the original mortise and tenon style and added carved wooden doors and mantelpiece. The original hand-hewn timbers, combined with artisan limestone and stained glass, lend a vintage atmosphere for any event.

Venue Layout
The interior of Kairos is divided into three areas: an entryway, a main reception area, and a second floor gallery and mezzanine. A limestone fireplace divides the entryway and main reception area. The entryway is used for food and beverage service and access to restrooms and the second floor. The main area can be arranged with a variety of tables, ceremony seating, or open dance floor, while the mezzanine and gallery provide secondary seating. In addition, off the gallery lies a private preparation suite with a bathroom. With the inclusion of the mezzanine, the main reception area can seat up to 110 guests.
In addition to its interior, Kairos also boasts a pair of outdoor flagstone patios surrounded by native landscaping and the vibrant natural beauty of the countryside. These patios also serve as flexible space: dining, wedding ceremony, and additional seating for larger events. Beyond the patios down a short railed stairway sits a lawn that provides the ultimate natural event setting. It is bordered by flowered landscaping, live oak trees, and a small pond.
Additional Details
Banquet Seating: 126 max in main reception area with buffet food service, 110 for tableside service. Additional seating can be provided upstairs or on the patio. Tables can be moved by the Kairos staff after dinner to create or enlarge the dance floor.
Ceremony Seating: 130 max indoors, 160 max on the West Patio, 130 max on the East Patio and 160 max in the grassy area near the pond.
Kitchen: The venue has a large, full kitchen to support all types of events.
