Lou was educated at Darlington School graduating in 1987 and graduated from Auburn University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Majoring in Marketing. While at Auburn he was a member of the Pi Kappa alpha Fraternity and the Auburn Marketing Association. He Joined Dempsey Auction Co. Full time in 1992, Graduated from the Nashville Auction School in 1993, and has been an active auctioneer ever since. He is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the Georgia Auctioneers Association where he currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer.He is a Principal in the Company serving as Secretary/Treasurer and strongly believes in his Grandfather's motto "nothing succeeds like success".
