The ranch is cross fenced into approximately twenty pastures for flexible management and efficient grazing rotation to maximize the utilization of grass. All fences are in good condition. The many draws, ravines, hills, springs, and spring creeks provide an abundance of natural protection and forage for livestock and wildlife. The box canyons on the ranch are better protection that if the ranch had multiple calving barns scattered throughout the ranch. Many of the draws along the Goshen Rim have chokecherry bushes and wild grapes. All wells have been converted to solar wells to of the wells feed supply tanks. Ten tanks run off other solar wells.
