This property is a beautiful piece of that has everything. There is a year round stream that supports a small trout fishery. Shoestring meadows run next to the creek where the new owner could plant alfalfa. I have personally seen hundreds of elk on this piece and the alfalfa would just enhance the trophy hunting. There is a large draw with an old cabin and huge groves of aspen. Besides the creek there are many springs that are the headwaters of eight mile creek. The property is approximately 75% covered in timber which provides good habitat for elk and deer. This piece is bordered by BLM for 1 1/2 miles. The BLM is very hard to access for the hunting public which provides a few more thousand acres to hunt. This property is also around 1 1/2 miles from the North Fork of the John Day river which is an excellent trout and steelhead river.
