At 17, Payton took his drive and discipline a step further by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. Over his four-year service as an infantryman in a CAAT (Combined Anti-Armor Team) platoon and later as a shooting instructor, he developed advanced leadership skills, a strong sense of duty, and a commitment to teamwork that continues to guide his professional path. Today, Payton brings together a rare blend of expertise in ranching, land management, excavation, and wildlife knowledge. His practical backgroundpaired with his leadership experience and passion for rural lifemakes him exceptionally well-equipped to navigate the complexities of ranch transactions.
