Sammy Young was a lifelong resident of the small community of St. Clair operating the local country store alongside his family for many years as well as being a well known farmer all his life.
Sammy was born and raised in Hawkins County and worked these farms his entire life. There is neither a rock nor tree on these properties that Sammy did not recognize. He was married to Wanda for 54 years and together they earned a living raising cattle and tobacco.
Many people in the community between the ages of 15-70 have worked for him on this farm. Sammy was a fixture of the St. Clair Community. It would be his wish that his equipment be used to carry on the legacy of family farming in Ea...
