The Wimberley Highview Ranch is located only 3 miles north of the town square in beautiful Wimberley, Texas (basic necessities, groceries, great shopping along the square and Cypress Creek). The ranch has about a mile of frontage on a paved county road, Skyline Drive. This location is ideal in that its close to town, yet maintains its privacy just outside of the city limits. San Marcos, the Hays County seat, is only about 15 miles away (hospital, Texas State University, outlet mall, restaurants, entertainment, etc.) Austin is only 35 miles and San Antonio is about 45 miles away.

There are some phenomenal live oaks that line the draws in this middle ground as well. Several terraces still remain in the pastures, giving evidence to a time when it was still farmed.
