The Board & Hammer property is 274.30 acres located midway between Grapeland and Alto, Texas South of State Highway 294 on County Road 1685.
This property was site prepped and planted in Superior Loblolly Pine seedlings in December of 2012.
The Board & Hammer property has a vast amount of red iron ore rock in various sizes ranging from pea gravel to boulders. The quantities have not been established, however, it is estimated that at minimum there is 1,000 loads of mid-size to large rock and 1,000 loads of pea-gravel to small gravel size rock. These figures are an estimate and there is a possibility that the range of these quantities could be much higher.
There is a great amount of road frontage along the Eastern boundary line of the Board & Hammer property and there is also an existing rocked road system within the property. Electricity is readily available if needed.
