The property offers rural and well water! Either one can be used for the facility; they are connected to the buildings for back-up. Owner has used well water and also has a switch system to change to rural water. In addition to that there is a spring-fed pond, combination of pasture and timber and a SW Kit Mobile Home (needs work), which could be used for a farm-hand. Another SW Mobile Home is available at no additional charge for use for farm-hands on the adjoining land.
Swine Waste Management: The waste retention structure is a Lagoon, which was recently inspected and passed the Engineers Inspection. The manure is pumped on a periodic basis for land application!
Buildings: There are a total of 6 metal bldg, consisting of a total of 42,792 with flushing/guttering system within the barns. Construction of the buildings was completed in 1995. All buildings are connected by covered, concreted passage ways. The buildings are divided into Breeding Barns, Birthing Barns and Gestation Barns with curtains. These curtains have a hand-crank system, but used to be computerized. Automatic misting system. There are exterior passage way connected to the buildings and 3 load-out chutes; therefore the overall day to day operation can be easily handled by small staff.
