Tulifinny Acres represents the second of two significant conservation purchases facilitated between a local landowner and The Nature Conservancy. The first transaction completed the Coosawhatchie Heritage Preserve by securing the final 625 acres for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and The Nature Conservancy. The second transaction, Tulifinny Acres, included the acquisition of the last remaining parcel of the historic Gregorie Neck Plantation. Today, that parcel is permanently protected under a conservation easement, ensuring another storied Lowcountry waterfront property will remain free from future development.
