Terrain: Various Native Brushes and Grasses common to South Texas roll across the ranch. Soil Types consist of Sandy Loam, Edroy Clay and Sandy Clay Loam to name a few. El Toro Creek is a wet weather watershed that meanders through the ranch. It provides nice shade with it's Bull Mesquites and lush browse with scattered underbrush.
Water: Four Water Wells and Four Tanks keep the house and wildlife fed. Three of the water wells are submersible and one is solar powered. Free choice cottonseed is kept out almost year around with corn feeders running about six months out of the year with the intentions of growing trophy whitetail. Wild Hogs are a fun hunt and the family really enjoys the dove hunting around the tanks.
