The lodge consists of a large free span great room with a fireplace, bay windows, and a full bath. The lodge is ideal for meetings and entertaining. There are two guest homes on the property near the main home. One is a 4 bedroom 2 bath and the other is a 2 bedroom 1 bath. There are a couple metal hay barns and a variety of out buildings.

The ranch has a good road system and the majority of land is easily accessible. The topography is level with a sharp rise into the hills. There are deep shaded ravines and rolling hilltops. The views are spectacular from many areas of the ranch across the South Llano River Valley. Cold Springs Ranch is home to many whitetail deer, turkey, dove, wild boar, black buck antelope, axis deer, and the occasional audad.
