This is the largest tract and it extends six miles along a southwest ridge between Long Lake Valley to Running Y Ranch Resort in the northeast. A private 5,000 acre farming operation is along the eastern boundary. The property contains the U.S. Cellular lease at Porter Butte. The 2010 lease income was $36,000. The 25 year term expires in 2032.
Long Lake Block contains an estimated 8,469 MBF of a mix of Douglas-fir, white fir, incense cedar and ponderosa pine. There are also 1,424 acres of well-stocked pine plantations in the 1 to 30 year age class. (See Supplemental Information Package for detail.)
There may be some potential for upland bird and duck hunting and recreation uses with Long Lake Blocks proximity to Upper Klamath Lake, including several good locations for a hunting camp at Bear Hollow, or on the southeast slopes with views of Upper Klamath Lake.

This timber tract is located along the lower north-facing slopes of Mount Harriman, near Ball Bay at Upper Klamath Lake, and contains an estimated 2,253 MBF of ponderosa pine and Douglas-fir. There is physical access to the northwest portion of the tract from Winema National Forest Service Road 0503 and 3637, both of which connect to Highway 140. Mountain Lakes Wilderness area boundary is 1/4 mile south of the property. Elevations range from 4,200 feet to 4,900 feet.
