The Lafayette 13 North Tract (62 Acres) and the Lafayette 13 South Tract (78 Acres) will be sold by lump sum sealed bid on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Both tracts are located approximately 3.5 miles northwest of Lewisville and 19 miles east of Texarkana. Access is excellent with County Road 13 providing approximately one-quarter mile paved frontage for each tract. Timber on both tracts consists of merchantable pine plantation with the Lafayette 13 South Tract containing 12 acres of natural hardwood (SMZ). Site index for loblolly pine averages 80 feet (base age 50). Terrain is gently rolling to flat. Kenney Creek runs through the Lafayette 13 South Tract. The Lafayette 13 North Tract has a high game fence on three sides. This fence is owned by the current hunting club.
