Just a bit further South is the Fourmile Recreation area which offers more than a hundred miles of ATV, mountain bike and hiking trails. With Mt. Elbert overlooking the lakes, there is of course mountain climbing as well as hiking, hunting, snowmobiling and countless other opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
