CAMP CREEK, BLUE MOUNTAIN, RED OAK

964 Acres at Camp Creek and Blue Mountain in the San Bois Mountain Range which is the farthest northern ridge of the Ouachita Mountain System.

Just north of Red Oak, Oklahoma, lies the steep buttes of Blue Mountain Peak and the bottoms of Camp Creek, a live creek in the area, runs all year folks. Several tributaries to Camp Creek run through the area, also.

The elevation can climb to 1800 feet allowing for great views. Large bolder cropping ridges gives the ideas of possible undiscovered caves.

Large pine, oak and hickory provide for some habitat for the wildlife while native fruit trees and berries keep them there. Abundant in native grasses and pools from the creeks, whitetail deer and turkey grow to be good size.

A good amount of hogs in the area need some good hunters! There are bear in the area and Latimer County is open for bear hunting.
