The Lee facility is situated on 2.85+/- acres and has 944,000 bushels of licensed
storage space. All of the storage is upright steel.
In 2011, Mullins completed the installation of a new state-of-the-art 2,400 bushel per
hour tower dryer, which is supported by a new 1,000 bushel receiving pit with an
integrated scale and driver kiosk and a 10,000 bushel per hour wet unloading
system. This installation creates a highly efficient grain handling system that reduces
turnaround time to customers and reduces labor costs, as fewer employees and less
time are required to operate the facility.
As configured, minimal investment in additional overhead equipment would allow for
loading containers in an easy and efficient manner. The containers would be loaded
directly on the scale, providing immediate and accurate weights, which would
reduce time spent versus loading and then weighing at a scale.
