One significant owner of the ranch was Frank Churchill, Walt Disney's musical composer, who scored over 65 films including Snow White, Dumbo and Bambi. He lived on the ranch until 1940 and lore has it that all of his original sheet music was found in the home in the 1950s but was sadly unrecognized and burned as trash.
