On behalf of Wilson Family, LLC and Hartford Elevator Inc., we are proud to offer this Lyon County Kansas real estate to the public. Located southwest of Hartford and east of Olpe, this tract is comprised of upland tillable and mostly Native grass pasture and would make a good addition to your row-crop or cattle operation.
The auction will be held at 6:30 p.m. on October 25th, 2022 at the Hartford Community Building with a physical address of 117 Commercial St. in Hartford, Kansas.
Totaling 320 acres more or less, the acreage breakdown for this parcel is 163.34 acres of cropland according to FSA records and approximately 152 acres of pasture/hay meadow with the balance consisting of light timber, waterways, and ponds.

The pasture/hay meadow portion of the property consists mostly of Native grass with dominant varieties of Indian, Switchgrass, and Big Bluestem as well as a diverse population of high-protein legumes. This is a highly hayable tract and has been used for such in recent years. Fences around the pastures rate from adequate to new with an overall average of good. Livestock water is supplied by two ponds within the pasture with one each located in the western and eastern halves of the property. The pond on the west side of the property has long been a popular spot for recreation for the fisherman and waterfowl hunters.
