Circle Bar Ranch
This is a diverse ranch ranging from Sonoran desert to upper desert grassland with PJ to even some ponderosa pine. The 525-head Tonto National Forest grazing permit which has its NEPA completed allows for a sizable ranch unit on 97,885 acres. Also included in the grazing allotment are 56,724 acres of non-use (will not be grazed) lands. But this brings the total size of the ranch to 241.5 sections that would be able to be utilized in PRF insurance program. Prior to turning out there are some new improvements (several miles of fence needed) and maintenance of existing improvements that need to occur. The ranch has 4 separate units with 4 separate cow herds (three 125 head units & one 150 head unit). You can complete improvements and then turn out in a unit rather the entire ranch all at once. Initial stocking rates will not be full term permit number and will be 50-75 head in 3 of the uni...

There is recreational uses on the ranch as it is outside of Phoenix. The private deeded land consists of approximately 10 acres at Sunflower which is located three miles north of the grazing permit. This ranch has been in the same family for over 100 years.

The Circle Bar Ranch is located northeast of Fountain Hills on both sides of S.R. 87 (Beeline Highway), north of the Salt River and south of Sunflower, from Four Peaks on the east to the Fort McDowell Reservation to the west. The deeded land at Sunflower is about 3 miles north of the grazing allotment.
